1 XPS extruded board (Extruded Polystyrene, scientific name extruded polystyrene foam for insulation) is a rigid foam board made of polystyrene resin as the main raw material, adding auxiliary materials such as foaming agent and catalyst, and made by high-temperature extrusion molding process. Its national standard is GB/T 10801.2-2002, and its internal structure is a honeycomb closed cell with a closed cell rate of more than 99%, which gives it excellent physical properties.
2. Core performance characteristics
Thermal insulation: The thermal conductivity is only 0.028W/(m·K), and the thermal insulation effect of 20mm thick XPS board is equivalent to 50mm thick foamed polystyrene board or 120mm thick cement perlite.
High strength compression resistance: The compressive strength reaches 150-500kPa (some models can reach 700kPa), which is far higher than ordinary foam boards.
Waterproof and moisture-proof: The water absorption rate is ≤1%, almost no water absorption, suitable for humid environments.
Durability: Strong anti-aging properties, normal service life can reach 20-30 years.
3.Main application areas Building insulation: roof, wall, ground insulation and frost heave control (such as square ground). Special projects: high load scenarios such as airport runways, highways, geothermal projects, etc. Cold chain logistics: insulation layer of insulated boxes and refrigerated trucks to maintain stable temperature.
