Water reducer
While water reducer has a slow setting effect on gypsum, it also reduces the strength of gypsum. At the same dosage, adding cement and calcium oxide to gypsum can improve the fluidity of gypsum. Due to the reduction of water-cement ratio, the density and strength of gypsum are improved. At the same time, due to the strengthening effect of cement hydration products on gypsum, the flexural and compressive strength of gypsum are improved. With the increase of cement and calcium oxide dosage, the fluidity of gypsum increases, and the right amount of cement can significantly improve the strength of gypsum.

Types of water reducers for gypsum board production lines
In gypsum board production lines, water reducers are important admixtures used to improve the fluidity of gypsum slurry and reduce water consumption, thereby improving the performance and production efficiency of gypsum boards. Naphthalene water reducer
Naphthalene water reducer is a high-efficiency water reducer with a high water reduction rate and good dispersibility. It can significantly reduce the water consumption of gypsum slurry, improve the fluidity of the slurry, and at the same time have a good improvement on the strength and water resistance of gypsum boards.

Polycarboxylic acid water reducer

Application
Water reducing agent is mainly applied in high strength mortar, gypsum products, self leveling floor, filler, grouts etc; high strength concrete, high fluidity concrete, high endurance concrete, aluminates cement refractory concrete, low cement refractory castable, and steam curing concrete.
The water reducing agent is prepared by copolymerizing unsaturated polyoxyalkylene base ether monomers, unsaturated monocarboxylic acid and derivative monomers thereof, and other monomers capable of being copolymerized with those monomers in a radical polymerization system. The gypsum water reducing agent has the advantages of high water-reducing rate, no delayed coagulation and the like, and the preparation method has the advantages of low energy consumption, high efficiency and good repeatability and stability.
