Characteristics of Gypsum Core Paper

1, Low weight: Gypsum face paper 180-200g / m2; But at the same time, it has high tensile strength, which can meet the strength requirements of high-grade paper gypsum board production line; The finishing performance is unique. The gypsum board produced is very flat. It is the preferred protective fabric for the production of large and medium-sized high-grade gypsum board.

2, High air permeability: Gypsum face paper products have large breathing space, which is suitable for the evaporation of a large amount of water vapor during dryness in gypsum board production. It is the fundamental foundation of today's regular model gypsum board production line and helps gypsum board customers increase production and efficiency.

3, Good heat permeability resistance: Gypsum face paper is convenient for the control of shaping, slitting and turnover in the production process of gypsum board, keeps the paper wet and still has strength, and helps to improve the yield of board line.

4, Good appearance quality: the front of gypsum face paper is standard ivory white, and conventional thermal dispersion technology and eco multistage flotation deinking are adopted in face pulp pulping; It is the first domestic gypsum board face protection paper to rinse the face slurry at high speed, which alleviates the easy fading of the outside of the gypsum board and stabilizes its appearance quality.

5, Compound force: the surface strength of gypsum face paper is high, and the forming, folding and bottom of paper are combined. The surface slurry needs special process treatment, and the bonding between layers and surface strength of face protection paper are improved, which effectively controls the paper take-up delamination in gypsum board production.

6, The fiber raw material of the product: Gypsum face paper adopts selected waste paper. The pulping of waste paper saves resources and reduces the environmental pollution caused by chemical pulping.

7, Product quality: Gypsum face protection paper is conducive to medium and high-grade gypsum board manufacturers to reduce costs, improve competitive strength and expand the domestic market of gypsum board. The variable sharply reduces the use of clay brick and wood in the construction industry, which meets the national policy requirements of saving cultivated land, saving energy and improving environmental protection, and has good social benefits.

Gypsum Core Paper Production Capacity Overview

Our facility is strategically divided into northern and southern zones. The northern zone spans 317.54 acres with a total investment of RMB 2 billion. It commenced operations with two high-grade gypsum board facing paper production lines, launched in 2011 and 2014 respectively, achieving a combined annual output of over 400,000 tons.

In line with China's plastic restriction policy and to foster innovative, leapfrog development through comprehensive recycling of renewable resources, the southern zone was expanded in 2017. With an investment of RMB 2.778 billion and covering 987.51 acres, this zone is dedicated to the "Project for Annual Production of 1.1 Million Tons of Gypsum Board Facing Paper and Packaging Paper." The project is being implemented in three phases:

Phase I: A 300,000-ton annual capacity gypsum board facing paper production line (PM6), commissioned in July 2022.

Phase II: Two eco-friendly packaging paper production lines (PM7 & PM8) with a total annual capacity of 450,000 tons, operational since September 2023.

Phase III: A planned 350,000-ton packaging paper production line, to be launched based on market demand and corporate development strategy.

We have equipped our facilities with advanced pulping and papermaking machinery from leading European manufacturers in Germany, Austria, and Finland. Our processes incorporate state-of-the-art technology and intelligent quality control, ensuring high efficiency, low consumption, and superior product quality. Energy-saving measures such as tiered energy utilization, recycled water systems, biogas combustion, paper residue co-processing with coal, and steam reuse are integral to our operations, supporting sustainable and high-output production.

Upon full operation, the project will substantially absorb waste corrugated paper from within the province and stimulate economic activity across industries such as kraft paperboard mills, carton factories, and logistics packaging for express delivery, food, and vegetable transportation. This integration fosters both regional economic vitality and significant social benefits
