Natural gypsum generally exists as dihydrate (CaSO₄·2H₂O) or anhydrite. To transform it into a usable cementitious material, dihydrate gypsum is heated to remove part of its crystalline water, converting it into hemihydrate gypsum:
CaSO₄·2H₂O + heat → CaSO₄·¹/₂H₂O + ³/₂ H₂O↑

Brief introduction :

The crusher breaks the large-sized gypsum ore into small particles smaller than 25mm, stores and transports it to the mill for grinding and grinds it into raw gypsum powder of required fineness. Then the product is sent to the fluidized bed furnace through the powder classifier. After calcination, the residue is returned to the mill for regrinding until it is qualified. The calcined gypsum powder is sent to the clinker bin for storage or to the product workshop for use.The main working principle of the fluidized furnace drying system: The main body of the fluidized furnace is mainly composed of dense hot air pipes. The hot air pipes pass through the high-temperature hot air pipes to exchange heat with the materials and release heat to the gypsum materials. A Roots blower is installed at the bottom of the fluidized furnace, and cold air is blown into the furnace body through the air distribution plate, blowing the powder in the furnace body to a boiling state, and finally the powder flows to the discharge port.
