Product Description
Sodium Naphthalene Sulphonate water reducer is a non air entraining high-efficiency water reducer mainly composed of naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate. It mainly improves concrete performance by dispersing cement particles and reducing water consumption. The following are its main features :
Performance Characteristics
1.Efficient water reduction: Under the same water cement ratio, the slump of concrete can be increased by more than 10cm, and the water reduction rate can reach 12% -25%, with a maximum of over 25%.
2.Enhancement effect: significantly improves the early and later strength of concrete, with a maximum increase of 110% in strength at 1 day and a 20% -60% increase in strength at 28 days.
3.Strong adaptability: suitable for fluid concrete, high-strength concrete, steam cured concrete, etc., without rusting effect on steel bars.
4.Loss of slump over time: There is a problem of rapid decline in slump over time (nearly 40% loss in half an hour), which requires the use of a retarder.
The main function of Water reducing agent:
1. Reducing the water dosage when making the Gypsum slurry;
2. We can save a lot energy when drying the Gypsum board(Usually the water dosage will occupied 40% for one piece of Gypsum board).
Instructions for Use :
Suggested dosage
Powder: Recommended dosage 0.5% -1.0%, commonly used 0.75%
Liquid: Recommended dosage 1.0% -2.0%, commonly used 1.5%
In actual use, adjustments need to be made according to the requirements of concrete strength, cement dosage, and slump, and each batch of goods needs to be tested and verified.
Precautions
Porous aggregate: If porous aggregate is used, it is recommended to mix it with water before adding water reducing agent.
Slump loss: In summer or high temperature environments, attention should be paid to the loss of slump over time (about 40% may be lost in half an hour), and the dosage can be appropriately increased or used in conjunction with other retarders.
Vibration time: When the slump is high, the vibration time should be shortened to prevent bleeding and delamination.
Safe operation: Avoid contact with skin or ingestion, transportation and storage should be rain and moisture-proof, and placed in a ventilated and dry place
