Recently, at Guangming Egg Tray Factory in Huasuo Town, the fully automated egg tray production line has been operating efficiently. Waste paper is transformed through processes like pulverizing, pulping, molding, and drying, before rows of neatly aligned egg trays-emitting a subtle paper aroma and featuring clear textures-gently descend onto the conveyor belt.
To address the shortcomings in village-level collective economic development and extend the industrial chain of the Tashan 300,000-hen egg farming base, Huasuo Town has adopted a market-oriented and context-specific approach. By implementing a model of "cross-village collaboration and collective development," the town brought together four villages-Pankou, Zhouliu, Xinhe, and Guangming-to jointly invest 3.1 million yuan in establishing a standardized egg tray production enterprise. This initiative fills a critical gap in the local poultry industry.
"The core strengths of our egg tray production line lie in its environmental friendliness, intelligence, and efficiency," explained Zhu Hongkai, Party Secretary of Guangming Village. "Waste paper is rapidly converted into uniform pulp through an advanced pulping system, with fully enclosed operations and zero wastewater discharge. The daily production capacity exceeds 100,000 trays, and annual output value is projected to surpass 9 million yuan." He added, "Our egg trays are not only sturdy and breathable but also biodegradable. They provide reliable protection for egg transportation and storage while gaining widespread recognition for their cost-effectiveness among local poultry farms. Just yesterday, four farms collected 110,000 trays from us. Currently, sales channels remain stable with consistently positive market feedback."
Beside the egg tray production line, villager Ms. Li was skillfully packaging the trays. She cheerfully shared, "Waste cardboard from home can now be turned into something valuable. Working here, I earn over 3,000 yuan per month and no longer need to seek jobs far away." It is reported that the factory has already created employment for 10 villagers, enabling residents in surrounding areas to achieve stable income without leaving their hometowns.
This agricultural supporting factory, rooted in local resources and committed to green recycling, leverages a "small industry" to drive "big livelihoods." It represents a distinctive path for village collectives through collaborative development, injecting tangible momentum into rural revitalization. Moreover, it turns the vision of "ecological beauty, industrial prosperity, and public well-being" into a living reality.
