How to Install gypsum board
1. Wall Marking
Before installation, start by marking out the wall. Draw a wall line on the ground and run it up to the roof and side walls.
2 2. Wall Pad Installation
Next, begin wall pad installation. First, clean the areas where the wall pad contacts the floor and ground to prevent surface stains. Apply a layer of primer to the surface. Then, pour C20 concrete on the wall and smooth the concrete surface with a brush.
3. Install the floor and ceiling purlins. Next, install the floor and ceiling purlins. Once installed, secure them with nails, ensuring each nail is 900 mm apart. When securing, pay attention to the placement of the nails, avoiding any concealed pipes running through the wall to prevent them from rupturing.
4 . Install the vertical studs. When installing the vertical studs, pay attention to the spacing and maintain a certain distance to ensure the stability of the drywall. First, mark the vertical studs along the floor and ceiling studs. Arrange the vertical studs along these lines, starting from the ends of the wall. If there are windows on the wall, arrange them toward one or both sides of the window. Secure the top and bottom ends of the vertical studs to the ceiling and floor studs, preferably with rivets.
5 . Install the Drywall
Finally, you can begin installation. Install the panels vertically, staggering the gaps between the keels. Screws can be used to secure the drywall to the keels. For example, 12mm drywall can be secured with 25mm self-tapping screws. The self-tapping screws should be positioned a certain distance from the edge of the drywall. After the drywall is installed, clean the surface. Wipe away any dust with a damp cloth. Once clean, you can proceed.
