Chinese Name: Fiber Cement Pressure Board
Foreign Name: Fiber Cement Board
Also Known as Fiber Cement Pressed Board
Material: Asbestos, cement, paper pulp, glass fiber, etc.
Thickness:
1. Ultra-thin board: 2.5-3.5mm;
2. Conventional board: 4-12mm;
3. Thick board: 12-30mm;
4. Extra-thick board: 31-100mm. Based on density, they are classified as follows:
1. Ordinary board, density 1.5-1.75 g/cm³;
2. Premium board, density 1.75-1.95 g/cm³;
3. Premium board, density 1.95 g/cm³ or higher.
Based on application, they are classified as follows:
1. Interior wall panels;
2. Exterior wall panels;
3. Floor panels;
4. Decorative panels, etc.
Based on the type of asbestos added, they are classified as follows:
1. Chrysotile fiber-cement pressure board;
2. Asbestos-free fiber-cement pressure board.
Performance
Performance of fiber-cement pressure board
1. Fireproofing and insulation: Non-flammability class A1, no toxic gas emissions; low electrical conductivity.
2. Waterproof and moisture-proof: Waterproof and moisture-resistant, making it ideal for bathrooms, swimming pools, underground passages, etc.
3. Anti-corrosion and insect repellent: Highly corrosion-resistant, rust-resistant, and insect-resistant. 4. Sound and Heat Insulation: High density for excellent sound insulation; low thermal conductivity for excellent thermal insulation.
5. Lightweight and High-Strength: High strength, lightweight, crack-resistant, flex-resistant, and highly impact-resistant.
6. Safe and Harmless: Non-toxic and non-radioactive, meeting the national "Radiation Protection Standards for Building Materials."
7. Machinability and Renovation: Can be freely cut, drilled, engraved, and pasted as needed.
Applications
Applications of Fiber Cement Pressure Board
Fiber cement pressure board is primarily used for interior partitions, exterior wall cladding, exterior wall insulation panels, and steel structure floor panels.
1. Compared to gypsum board and fiber cement board, it offers superior waterproofing, fire resistance, and sound insulation for interior partitions. However, due to its higher cost, it is primarily used in high-end facilities such as hotels, guesthouses, villas, and national stadiums. 2. Exterior wall cladding, like stone, is used in a variety of buildings due to its significant price advantage over stone, especially imported stone. It has been increasingly adopted in various structures, including many venues for the World Expo and the Asian Games.
3. Exterior wall insulation panels: For energy-saving purposes, many buildings in northern China have incorporated exterior wall insulation designs. The use of insulation materials such as fiber cement pressure boards and extruded boards has become common.
4. With rising housing prices, duplex residential communities are booming across China. Fiber cement floor panels offer superior waterproofing, moisture resistance, fireproofing, soundproofing, corrosion resistance, and insect repellency compared to traditional density fiberboard (wooden boards).

5. Fiber cement pressure boards are also widely used in high-speed railway sound barriers, electrical insulation panels, curtain wall linings, and other applications. Specifications
Specifications of Fiber Cement Pressed Board
The standard length and width specifications for fiber cement board are 1200*2400mm and 1220*2440mm, respectively. Manufacturers can generally customize lengths between 2000-2500mm and widths between 1000-1250mm. Other special specifications can be cut and processed based on these specifications.
6 . The thickness of fiber cement board ranges from 2.5-90mm. Reputable manufacturers can customize thicknesses between 2.5-100mm based on customer needs. Thicknesses under 4mm are considered ultra-thin, 4-12mm are standard, 15-30mm and above are thick, and 30mm and above are extra-thick. Presses under 3000 tons can only produce standard board thicknesses between 6-12mm; presses between 3000-5000 tons can produce premium board thicknesses between 4-30mm. Presses over 5000 tons can produce premium board thicknesses between 2.5-100mm. The size of a manufacturer's press can be judged by the thickness and grade of sheet material it can produce.
