This product forms an elastic film through the condensation of hydroxyl-active groups, while the methyl groups build a surface waterproofing layer. It can penetrate to a depth of 3-5mm and is suitable for porous substrates such as concrete and mortar. It is used in building exterior walls and tunnel waterproofing. Adding 0.1% to 0.15% by mass improves the mortar's water repellency and wind erosion resistance. Typical applications have shown that it can reduce exterior wall leakage by 90%. It is also used to modify high-strength concrete. A 3%-4% addition achieves optimal superhydrophobicity and mechanical properties.

Hydroxyl groups are active groups that readily condense at low temperatures, forming an elastic film. Methyl groups are hydrating groups that form a waterproof membrane on the glass fiber surface, providing excellent waterproofing.

Packed in clean, airtight plastic barrels or coated iron barrels, acid and alkali proof. Storage temperature should not be lower than -5℃, avoid freezing, exposure to strong sunlight or mixing with other debris. Store in a cool and ventilated place.
Use
It is mainly used for waterproofing and antifouling of glass fiber materials, with excellent waterproof performance. After being treated with silicone oil, the building materials can improve their wind erosion resistance and hydrophobicity. Adding 0.1% to 0.15% (mass fraction) or a higher solid content of silicone oil emulsion into the mortar can show the above characteristics and improve the mortar's workability and fluidity. Asbestos, cement, gypsum board, etc. can also be treated with silicone oil .
