The group lingered longest at the sanding and cutting section. Here, a batch of custom-sized boards was being processed for a fireproof cladding project overseas. The delegation leader-a grey-haired engineer with a serious demeanor-leaned down to feel the edge of a freshly cut board, then knocked on its surface with his knuckle and listened intently.
