1 Main Materials
Building gypsum: Made from natural gypsum ore or industrial by-product gypsum, it is calcined at high temperatures to produce hemihydrate gypsum powder, which serves as the board's base material.
2 Additives
Retarders
Commonly used are borax, potassium sodium tartrate, and citric acid. They are used to adjust the setting time of the gypsum slurry and ensure a controllable production process.
3 Fiber Reinforcements
Adding glass fiber, paper fiber, and polypropylene fiber (5%-15%) improves the board's crack resistance, toughness, and flexural strength.
4 Waterproofing Agents
For waterproofing requirements, silicone or acrylic waterproofing agents are added to enhance the board's moisture resistance.
5 Other Functional Additives
Foaming agents reduce board density, while reinforcing agents (such as silica fume and fly ash) increase strength. These additives are added based on product characteristics.

6 Production Process
Ingredients and Mixing: Gypsum powder and other materials are premixed in appropriate proportions, then water and additives are added to form a slurry.
7 Molding: Molding is performed using a slurry or compression molding method, with controlled thickness (9-25mm).
8 Curing: After initial setting, allow to stand or steam cure (50-70°C) to accelerate hardening.
9 Cutting and Drying: After drying, cut to specifications and remove free moisture to a moisture content of ≤2%.
